Kaieteur News – The Georgetown Office Assistants Promotion Committee will stage an 8-a-side, 4-over Tapeball knockout Inter-Ministries/Government Agencies cricket competition on Sunday November 21st.
The venue is the National Cultural Centre Tarmac starting from 9:00am and Trophies, medals and cash incentives are up for grabs.
The teams scheduled to take part have been broken into two groups. The event is being organised by James ‘Uprising’ Lewis and would be staged under strict National Covid-19 Task Force guidelines.
The Teams competition are: Group A – Supreme Court Marshals, Guyana Forestry Commission, Demerara Habour Bridge, Guyana Revenue Authority, Guyana Oil Company, Guyana Energy Authority, Guyana Prison Service, Bank of Guyana, NIDA, Maritime Administration, GOHC and EPA.
Group B – Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs& Int. Corporation, Ministry of Public Service, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports, Ministry of Housing and Water, Ministry of Amerindian Affairs, Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Human Services and Social Security, Ministry of Natural Resources, Office of the President and Ministry of Finance.
