Nov 09, 2021 Letters
Dear Editor,
Kaieteur News – One observes the notice to letter writers in SN of November 04, which speaks, amongst others to the relative brevity of submissions. Does it apply to current and former political leaders, and indeed official representatives of public and private sector organisations?
Also, does it apply to letters that seek to provide objective information about public organisations, for the benefit of concerned parties, particularly decision-makers who are relatively unfamiliar with assigned portfolios?
Do the strictures apply to all ethnic groups?
Where else should freedom of expression be allowed to citizens (who are electors)?
Incidentally, should readers complain about the length of SN’s usually well structured Editorials?
Regards
Citizen
