Dear Editor,
Kaieteur News – The report of two bogus persons posing as meter readers to an unsuspecting housewife, in their attempt to commit a felony, highlights the need to ask persons to produce identification before allowing them on our premises.
This advisory has been repeated by service companies at length but still residents are not cognisant of the dangers and are too trusting.
We need to be alert at all times. Good work by the public-spirited citizens who assisted in the capture of the culprits.
