Interim Management Committee (IMC) will solve Georgetown’s municipal problems

Dear Editor,

The Mayor and City Council of Georgetown needs to be replaced by an Interim Management Committee (IMC). Both the Mayor and Town Clerk are up to their necks in problems. Whose responsibility is it to ensure that workers are paid? When Carol Sooba was Town Clerk she met the payroll, and staff were paid their wages on time. This was done under Mayor, Hamilton Green.
The IMC should bring back Carol Sooba. She is competent and gets the job done. Sooba served the Georgetown Municipality as legal officer for 15 years before she took up the office of Town Clerk.
