Dear Editor,
Reminiscent of a huge fire earlier, it is alleged firefighters turned up to a fire without tools to break heavily grilled doors and windows (News Room, July 29), thus being unable to gain entry to the building promptly. When they finally did, two occupants lay dead.
Is our firefighting capabilities being compromised by lack of basic, careful planning?
What will it take for GFS to get simple, elementary things right?
Sincerely,
Shamshun Mohamed
