Kaieteur News – Seen in this photo is a cop, who along with an accomplice on Friday last, was caught stealing fuel from the Fort Wellington Police Station in Berbice, Region Five, to fill the tank of his car.
The individual who snapped the photo related that the act took place in the afternoon hours.
The accomplice first approached the fuel tank located behind the police station and reportedly filled up a “five-gallon pail” from a tank and stashed it in a corner. As he left, a grey Nissan SUV was seen “backing up” next to fuel tank. Another cop stepped out of the SUV, located the pail and hose and reportedly looked around before he began filling up his vehicle.
