Jun 20, 2021 Letters
DEAR EDITOR,
This discussion has been exhausted but I note that Eric Moseley is now going to bat for Mr. Hamilton Green (Letters, June 19, 2021) so please indulge me with a few brief questions for these two gentlemen.
The fundamental question being asked by other writers and me and which sparked this exchange is still unanswered. Why does Mr. Green ask us to learn lessons from a US race massacre when he has been silent for over 60 years about a race massacre right here at home, namely the Wismar Massacre?
Other than him trying to claim some parallel victimhood with African Americans which does not exist, what was his reason? And why is it that when Green and Moseley speak, it is not “well-worn propaganda and statements with no basis in fact” but when I do – and everything I have stated is factual and can be checked – it is? I have said all I need to say about this issue. The rest is up to Mr. Green and his conscience. My recommended reading for both gentlemen is Mr. Freddie Kissoon’s column of June 19, 2021. He says it all far more boldly than I ever would.
Sincerely,
Ryhaan Shah
