DEAR EDITOR,
I refer to the Editor’s note that followed my letter; (KN June 08, 2021) captioned “I welcome the note of civility in Vishnu Bigram’s polemics.” The Editor’s note states: “There is no policy or directive to restrict any letter published in the newspaper from being published online.” This was a necessary and timely clarification of your editorial position on this issue. In accepting your assurance as a reader and letter writer, I can say with (out) fear of contradiction, that your clarification will be welcomed by the readership of the Kaieteur News.
Yours faithfully,
Tacuma Ogunseye
