CEO impressed with club’s youths offers help

Kaieteur News – Dinar Trading of Lot 1 Lamaha and Cummings Streets, Alberttown, Georgetown this past week gave tangible support to the Airy Hall Sports Club of Airy Hall, Mahaica on the East Coast of Demerara.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Gold Trading establishment, Mohamed Iqbal Hussain, arranged a set of football gears for the youths of the club who were in need of the gear. A happy bunch of youngsters expressed gratitude for the donation by the entity. The donation included football uniforms, footballs, training cones, bibs, shin guards, goalkeeping gloves, gears bag and football hose among others and were presented by Clifton Singh on behalf of Dinar Trading to the talented young player Eon Able Jnr. in the presence of club members and several officials of the business house.
The CEO disclosed that they were very happy to support this club as part of their corporate responsibility.
He noted that more so after spotting the talent of these youngsters, noting that he was especially impressed with young Abel, he had to lend the help. Iqbal, as he is popularly known, stated that Dinar Trading will continue to offer support to the club, but told the youngsters that this will only happen once they continue good performances and remain disciplined.
Iqbal informed that this initial partnership with the Airy Hall Sports Club will see his company adopting the club for an initial one year period which will be reviewed and once the members keep their end of the bargain of being disciplined and show good performances, then the arrangement will continue.
A gleeful bunch of young footballers were pleased with their gear and pledged to continue improving. They are keen to participate in East Coast Demerara Football Association tournaments. Of recent they have been playing some football in Berbice and have shown much promise and the ability to improve.
