Kaieteur News – Georgetown Royal Rangers, Essequibo Eagles and West Dem Warriors recorded victories when the Big Man Cricket 25-over competition continued recently.
At No. 72 Cut and Load ground, GT Royal Rangers managed 173-6, batting first. Nadir Baksh made 45, Shaun Massiah got 37, Tajenarine Ramroop 27 and Mustapha Azimullah 20. Michael Singh took 2-24.
Upper Corentyne Rangers made 119 all out in 23 overs in reply. Chatterpaul Lionel scored 31 not out and Prince Trotman 27. Bashur Khan claimed 3-20, Baksh 2-18 and Oslyn Batson 2-30. GT Royal Rangers won by 54 runs; Baksh was named man-of-the-match.

At Imam Bacchus Cricket ground, Affiance Essequibo Coast, West Side Vipers took first strike and made 125-9. Muneshwar Balgobin scored 46 and Suresh Ramdeen 23.
Besham Seepersaud grabbed 4-23 and Trevis Simon 2-16.
Essequibo Eagles responded with 128-2 in 17.1 overs.
Ramesh Narine struck an unbeaten 64 off 48balls with six fours and three sixes, Dharmandeo Lall made 36 off 35balls with three fours and Deopaul Drepaul 18 not out.
Essequibo Eagles won by 8 wickets. Seepersaud Baksh was named man-of-the-match.

At Farm Community Centre ground, East Bank Demerara, West Dem Warriors posted 254-5, batting first.
Deoram Persaud slammed 106 off 74balls with 13 fours and four sixes while Ganesh Persaud 36 off 37balls with six fours, Eion Williams got 29, Patrick Khan 27 and Seecharran Persaud 18.
In reply, Real Warriors made 29 for 9 (innings closed) in 10.2 overs. Steve Haripaul claimed 4-5.
West Dem Warriors won by 227 runs
Deoram Persaud was named man-of-the-match.
