Kaieteur News – Thirty-seven new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded by the Ministry of Health (MOH), bringing Guyana’s confirmed cases of the disease to 8,550.
According to the updated MOH’s dashboard of the new cases, six were recorded in Region Three, 29 in Region Four and two in Region Nine.
Further, the Ministry stated that there are four persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU); 22 are in institutional isolation while 358 persons are isolated at home and 18 persons are institutionally quarantined.
Meanwhile, to date, 195 persons have died from the infectious disease and 7,971 persons have recovered.
