Kaieteur News – The Devon Ramnauth Development Youth Cricket League is set to commence on Saturday with three matches on the Essequibo Coast.
In the opening fixture, Rising Stars will play United Warriors at Pomona at 10:00hrs, Essequibo Eagle’s U19 will take on Golden Fleece Vikings Youths at 09:30hrs at Imam Bacchus ground and Reliance Hustlers Youths will face Queenstown U19 at 13:30hrs at Imam Bacchus ground.
The tournament is designed to help promote youth cricket in region two.
Among the players set to be on show are Azizi Christiani, Romal Hubbard, Mavindra Dindyal, Mahendra Basdeo, Christopher Latchman, Lance Roberts, Rajindra Ramballi, Shivo Seurattan, Daniel Dass, Sudarshana Moniram, Randhi Raghubir, Abdool Nadir, Ramraj Bhopaul and Lance Roberts.
