DEAR EDITOR,
I think it is important to bring to the attention of the public that there are businesses in Georgetown, where staff and other people involved in the business are COVID positive and the businesses are still operating.
I am a customer of one of these establishments and the owner I have now found out is in the COVID hospital. This person was there up to three days ago working, touching money and socialising. This business remains open up to today. I believe the members of the public should be warned that COVID is spreading.
I am very upset that the government, knowing this person is infected and was operating this business did not shut them down immediately! I am sure this is happening in other businesses as well and I believe the public needs to be made aware of these high risk places.
Many thanks.
