Kaieteur News – The Kennard Memorial Turf Club (KMTC) was forced to call off its annual Boxing Day meet which was set for December 26 at their Bush Lot Farm, Corentyne racetrack.
Kaieteur Sport was informed that approval was not granted by the COVID Task Force to host the meet which is one of the clubs’ most popular events.
The KMTC very much regretted not being able to stage the event and would like to apologise to its fans, horse owners, sponsors and the general public. The club wishes to inform its supporters that they are planning to host a meet as soon as the situation improves and approval is granted.
