A Tapeball competition is set for today at the Durban Pak Tarmac in Georgetown, Guyana. The competition, which is for Ministries and Government Agencies, is a 7-a-side Tapeball affair.
The tournament will be coordinated by James Lewis beginning at 9:30hrs. All the guidelines of the COVID- 19 Task Force would be strictly enforced.
The competition would be a 4 overs-per-side knockout affair with the winner set to take home the Minister of Home Affairs Trophy.
The winning team will take home $75,000 cash and medals; the runner-up will get $40,000.
Among the teams set to participate are the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture, Office of the President, GuyOil, Guyana Forestry Commission, GPHC, Ministry of Natural Resources, MARAD, EPA, GCAA, CJIA, Ministry of Public Service, Ministry of Finance, Guyana Police Force, Ministry of Amerindian Affairs, GRA and the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports.
