Kaieteur News – The King Medas Pansy Adonis (KMPA) foundation continued their goodwill last week after their Youth Ambassador, Shaquille Adonis, made a tangible contribution to students of the President’s College high school located in Golden Grove on the East Coast of Demerara.
Adonis, who is a former student of the school, in addition to being an outstanding athlete, gave four students a combined total of $40,000 to assist with their Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (C.S.E.C) examinations.
The students who are benefitting from the grant include Ronoko Vaugh, Tiffany James, Roniah King, and Joshua Abrams.
The KMPA representative, who hails from the Golden Grove-Haslington area, holds a Law degree from the University of Guyana and is looking forward to going to the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) where he can continue his goal of being admitted to the local Bar Association in Guyana.
In an invited comment, Shaquille shared that he enjoys what he’s doing and being part of the KMPA Foundation has opened up lots of opportunities for him so he thinks it is only right that he gives back. Among opportunities afford to Adonis included a trip to the United States of America twice and while there he attended several high level meetings with some of the best Coaches in the world.
