Kaieteur News – The Inter Ministries and Government agencies 7-a-side Tapeball cricket competition will be contested on Sunday at Durban Tarmac starting at 09:30hrs.
The competition which will be played under strict covid guidelines will be of four overs an innings; it will be contested on a knockout basis.
The winner will pocket a trophy and $75,000 while the runner up will receive a trophy and $40,000.
Among the teams set to participate are Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture, Office of the President, Guyoil, Forestry Commission, GPHC, Ministry of Natural Resources, Maritime admin, EPA, GCAA, CJIA, Ministry of Public Service, Ministry of Finance, Guyana Police Force, Ministry of Amerindian Affairs, GRA and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport.
Entries will be closed on December 4. Interested team can call organizer James Lewis on 628 1656 or 689 1656 for registration.
