Kaieteur News – The Ministry of Health (MOH) yesterday recorded 28 new COVID-19 cases, pushing Guyana’s confirmed cases to 5,338. This was presented in their daily dashboard update.
Of the newly recorded cases; Region One and Region Three recorded one new case each, Region Four recorded 7, Region Seven recorded 5 and Region 10 recorded 14.
The MOH’s dashboard further states that 782 persons are in approved home isolation, 87 are in institutional isolation, 41 are in institutional quarantine and 3 persons are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit.
The COVID-19 death toll remains at 149 deaths and 4,317 persons have recovered.
Additionally, 29,521 persons have been tested for the virus countrywide to date.
