Kaieteur News – Following the passage of the emergency $330B budget, the government is now in a rush to expend the remainder of funds on projects before the end of this fiscal year. With this, the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), on Tuesday last, opened ¬¬¬¬¬over 725 bids for 65 major governmental projects at their Ministry of Finance (MoF) office on Main and Urquhart Streets, Georgetown. Below are the companies and their bids.

Rehabilitation of South Ruimveldt sluice Georgetown, Region Four
Construction of conservancy dams and rehabilitation of drainage and irrigation channels in West Watooka, Linden
Rehabilitation of main canal All Weather Road heading five kilometers east, West Coast Berbice, Region Five
Ministry of Public Works
Construction of sea and river structures within Regions Two to Six in nine lots
Maintenance of bridges – Lot one: Rehabilitation of Annandale 40 Acrow Panel Railway Embankment on the East Coast of Demerara, Region Four; Lot two: Rehabilitation of Vryheid’s Lust 40 Acrow Panel bridge.
