Remar launches mix-tape today
Kaieteur News – Guyanese rapper, Remar, launches his new mix-tape today. The artiste, Dominic Weekes, will present the six-track album, 90s Flexx today at 3 pm on radio with DJ Rawle on Boom FM. According to Remar, the theme of the new music was inspired by the decade: “From the fashion to the iconic movies and TV shows we got back then to the analog photos we now look back on from that era, and of course, the rich offerings of music, which we received from every imaginable genre. I was only fortunate to fully experience and remember the years of the tail-end of the 90’s, but those memories were vivid and have always inspired my craft. A quick listen to my music, and it would be very obvious that 90’s R&B and hip-hop have influenced my sound tremendously.”
