Kaieteur News – Following the passage of the emergency $330B budget, government is now in a rush to expend the remainder of funds on projects before the end of this fiscal year. As such, the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) on Tuesday opened ¬¬¬¬¬over 725 bids for 65 major governmental projects at its Ministry of Finance office on Main and Urquhart Streets. Below are the companies and their bids.

Acquisition and supply of spares for vessels
Maritime Administration Department (MARAD)
Docking and rehabilitation of MT Aruka
Construction of concrete platform and installation of metal tower at Waini Point
Construction of concrete platform and installation of metal tower at Waini River Mouth
Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI)
Upgrading of transmission line on Vlissengen Road between Shelterbelt and Lamaha Street
Installation of 900m of 600mm diameter HDPE pipe from Square of the Revolution to Cemetery Road in two lots
Ministry of Legal Affairs
Extension of the Ministry of Legal Affairs building, Georgetown
Ministry of Home Affairs
Procurement of mounted branch equipment – Guyana Police Force (GPF)
