Banks DIH Limited continues to take the lead among local businesses in their benevolence to its customers even during the Covid 19 Pandemic which continues to create havoc in the world
including Guyana. The Beverage giant had rolled out a massive give away initiative, the countrywide promotion, the “Get a Ride For Sprite Consumer Promotion”, started June 22nd and is due to conclude July 30th. The company is giving away over 100 bicycles with draws set for Berbice, Linden, Bartica, Essequibo and in Georgetown.
Whilst some locations will see participants winning three bicycles weekly others will see participants winning two.
To enter the competition participants’ are required to collect and placed 3 x two liter labels or 6 x two ounce labels or ten 355 ML labels into an envelope with the necessary information and deposit same at one of the participating supermarkets.
According to Berbice Sales Manager Nandram Basdeo the initiative is part of Bank DIH way of giving back to the community from where its garner its support. He said that despite the hardship associated with the Covid 19 the company sees it fit to give back in a tangible way. He said that apart from assisting members of the community, the initiative should boost Sprite sales across the country.
One drawing was held last weekend at the Company’s New Amsterdam, Berbice. The three winners were Deokarran of Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam, Mona Chung of New Amsterdam and Ravindra Bissessar of No 2 Village, East Canje.
Presentations were done by Mr Basdeo, Indoor Manager Ms F. Kendall Hardy and other staff members. (Samuel Whyte)
