John Barsa, the acting Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), today in a Tweet made an appeal to the incumbent President David Granger, to put Guyana first and assure a swift and peaceful transition of power to the democratically elected winners based on the full recount of the tabulation.
“Democracy,” Barsaid said, “requires that statesmen respect the will of the people.”
