Representatives of the A Partnership for National Unity + Alliance for Change (APNU+ AFC), Simona Broomes and Carol Joseph, have registered some concerns relating to the ongoing March 2, General and Regional Elections.
The representatives claimed that they have observed “abnormalities” during the recount of ballots.
Broomes explained that she noticed “anomaly” while the ballots were being counted for District 2. Joseph, on the other hand, explained that she noticed that the names of persons who were deceased or moved abroad were found to be on the lists.
Both of coalition representatives have raised their concerns with the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM).
