DEAR EDITOR,
As disturbing as the numerous distortions and fabrications coming from APNU-AFC have been over the last few weeks, with regard to what transpired during the Region Four vote tabulation, the recent attack on the Private Sector Commission is probably the most disturbing.
APNU-AFC, who, more likely than not, are complicit in the most blatant attempt at electoral fraud ever seen in Guyana, and who immorally continue to cling to power, should be the last to be accusing anyone of hypocrisy. They have repeatedly insulted the intelligence of most Guyanese with the most convoluted of narratives in their daily attempts at gas lighting the nation over the Region Four vote tabulation.
The views of the PSC are not the issue. This is a private sector body with every right to express its view-
The issues for APNU-AFC to note and to act upon are the failure of GECOM to deliver credible elections, the identification of those responsible so that they can be brought to justice, and the installation of a government in accordance with the will of those who cast their ballots on March 2.
Yours truly,
Marcel Gaskin
