President of the Rupununi Football Association (RFA) Ryan Farias has informed that all football and football related activities there have been suspended until further notice in light of the deadly COVID -19 Virus.
Following is the full text of the letter sent to all the RFA affiliated clubs by Farias:
“In light of the deadly threat (COVID -19) which is presently in our beloved country Guyana, the executive of the Rupununi Football Association has agreed to postpone our RFA Champions League 2020 with immediate effect until further notice. We recognise the seriousness of this deadly disease; therefore, we ask all our members to follow the Ministry of Health’s safety precautions to avoid contamination. We thank you for your continuous understanding and support.”
