Reigning Street Bike Class Champion; Dowayne Caesar, has been boosted by Samaroo Investment through their Mannol Lubricants brand ahead of this Sunday’s highly anticipated National Race of Champions (NROC) round one motor racing meet at the South Dakota Circuit, Timehri.
Caesar, who will be on top his 2002 ZX9R Kawasaki Ninja bike, will be looking to continue his good form since stepping onto the scene in November 2017. The rookie explained that motor racing is a very expensive sport and he is happy for the support he has received thus far since it will help offsetting fixed costs.
At the 2020 Endurance Championships round one last month, Caesar fared well in the test of racing stamina in which he won his first ever endurance contest. Looking forward, the daredevil posited that he will be looking to get a Drag Race machine for the highly anticipated 2020 Drag Championship which is scheduled to speed off in April.
This Sunday, Caesar will face stern competition from the likes of Paul Yearwood, Stephen Vieira, Bobby Rasul, Carey Griffith, Romeo Singh, Raphael Fraser, Kevin Persaud, John Bennet and Elton Carter who have all confirmed for the Street Bikes showdown.
The Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) announced earlier this week that fans will enter the Circuit free of cost this Sunday as a token of the club’s appreciation to for their tremendous support last season.
The NROC is sponsored by Mohamed’s Enterprise, Tropical Shipping, KFC and Hand-In-Hand Insurance. (CC)
