The West Demerara Cricket Association/Beacon Cafe 50 overs competition will resume today at Joe Vieira Park with Independence A facing Sawpitt CC.
The competition was put on hold due to inclement weather and the organisers are hoping that other grounds will be available so that they can stage more matches.
Sawpitt CC currently lead zone A with 20 points from seven games followed by All Youths A on 16 points from six games, Independence A on 16 from four and Bell Vue on 16 from seven.
Zone B is headed by Zeeburg with 24 points from eight matches, while MC Gill Super Stars are in second place with 22 points from seven games. Windsor Forest occupied third position with 20 points from five games and New Windsor are in fourth position on 18 points from seven matches.
