Albion Permaul’s Trading and Distribution (APTD) U15 cricket team defeated their counterparts from Port Mourant in a game of the BCB Lewison U15 cricket competition for teams in Berbice.
In the game, which was played at the Albion Community Centre, saw the home team winning by 32 runs in opening round of the competition.
Albion batted first and were bowled out for 62 in 30 overs with Damien Cecil making 14. Bowling for Port Mourant R. Budhwa was the main destroyed with 6 wickets and was supported by Salim Khan with 2.
Port Mourant in reply were bundled out for 30 with Rampertab Ramnauth with 24 offering some resistance.
Bowling for Albion off-spinner Afraz Budhoo was the chief destroyer with 5 wickets and was backed up by medium pacers Shiv Harripersaud and Antonio Ramphal with 2 each.
