Priyanna Ramdhani won the Silver Medal after reaching the Finals at the 2020 Honolulu Open A-Division Tournament held in Hawaii, USA January 3-5, 2020.
This is a great start for her, beginning the year in a positive note and keeping her consistency going as in the past years, a release from the Guyana Badminton Association (GBA) informed.
Priyanna departed Canada on her Birthday January 2, 2020 to attend this tournament and her training during the Holidays paid off with her being able to compete in the Senior Division and Medaled, although still a Junior Player.
In the Round-Robin playoff in the Open Singles A-Division, Priyanna defeated: Rachel Cheung: 21-11, 21-13, Samantha Hsu: 21-15, 21-17 and lost to Eyota Kwan 21-13, 21-10 in the Finals.
