DEAR EDITOR,
The APNU/AFC regime was clinching to straws with their legal challenges to stave off the December 2018 No-Confidence vote and set a date for General Elections as per Constitution for a full year.
Why was the PPP 2015 Elections Petition case not heard in this same period as an assurance of democratic principles and an end to partisan politics?
Well it is hoped that March 2020 General Elections would correct this misgiving and the will of the Guyanese people be respected in their choice for a new government.
Sincerely yours,
Paul Ramrattan
