All is set for the final of the 9-a-side Inter-Ward Football Competition to commemorate the 85th Birth Anniversary of former Prime Minister and City Mayor Hamilton Green on Sunday at the Leonora Sports Facility.
Delayed from last year due to the weather and other events, Sunday’s action is set to get underway from 4:00pm with the quarterfinals, followed by semifinals and the resulting final.
The fixtures show Den Amstel Kings are down to battle with Soesdyke in the opening fixture followed by Uitvlugt against Wales, West Side Spartans versus Stewartville and Pouderoyen challenge Den Amstel. The winners play the semis and respective final and third place.
