With Friendship being the last remaining team from the Buxton environ still in the inaugural 592 Community Cup Football Tournament, an urgent call is being made for its supporters to flood the Buxton ground tonight.
Friendship, the lone survivor, will look to exact revenge for sister team Buxton when they face nemesis Paradise in the feature clash of semi-final action.
In the opening game, Golden Grove face BV and their aim will surely be to make the final which is set to be staged on their home turf on January 1.
Paradise, who dispatched Buxton on penalty kicks after equalizing in the dying moments of regulation time to send it to spot kicks, will try to take advantage of the mental edge they hold following their quarter-final triumph.
Star player Quincy Adams, who was responsible for the miraculous comeback win, once again will hold the key to victory, while Teshawn Gordon and Tyreke Cummings are expected to lend critical support if they are to advance.
On the other hand, Friendship could use the loss of their counterparts as impetus to motivate them to represent the community.
However, this will depend on how well players such as Clive Andries and Dillon Wright perform.
What is certain is that the Buxtonians will be aided by overwhelming support and definitely will use this to their advantage to engineer a win.
The Golden Grove versus BV affair is another exciting encounter and this too has making of a virtual final.

BV’s pursuit of a place in the championship game will rest on the shoulders of Omari Glasgow, Reon Hopkinson, Akin Curry and Jemar Harrington, all players with immense talent and experience to make life uncomfortable for the Golden Grove unit.
