Following the conclusion of the third annual Brian Tiwari birthday football tournament which was won by West Side Spartans that defeated Gaza

Squad in the final, the top performers received their prize monies on Friday at the BK Group of Companies head office on Water Street.
The champions pocketed $200,000, Gaza Squad received $100,000, while third place Den Amstel got $60,000 and fourth place finishers Pouderoyen $40,000.
Present at the presentation was head of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Wayne Forde, who shared during his remarks that, “Often time when we speak about donation, sponsorship and investment in sport, we focus on the competition but what I want to say to Mr. Tiwari is what you do, what you continue to do is invest into the lives of young men, some of whom are very vulnerable.”
