Exciting Food Town Restaurant end-of-year Golf Tournament set for today

Food Town Restaurant & Distribution Outlet of 266 Newton Street, Enmore, East Coast, Demerara is a partner with the Lusignan Golf Club and this weekend hosts the year-end tournament today December 28, at 12:00 noon.
Golfers and fans will be pleased to note that sponsorships continue unabated despite the usual busyness of this Christmas Holiday season. Thanks to the Foodtown Restaurant, the Tournament for today with regular tee-off time at 12:00 noon, will also accommodate earlier play as long as there is a group to play.
Instead of Flights, the tournament will be played on the straight Medal Play system, with prizes and bragging rights being awarded for 1st to 5th Best Net scores, as well as Best Gross.
With the supportive weather, the Tournament augurs to be an exciting one.
Food Town Restaurant, 668-7419 or 644-3118, allows all licensed food vendors to order from a wide ranging menu, as much as they feel they will be able to sell on a daily basis, and simply have it delivered to their location. No shopping for ingredients, no, early morning cooking or transportation costs, simply show up and sell at your location.
The public is invited to spectate free of charge, as the golfers vie to be crowned year-end Champion.
