Christmas is the most magical time of year. Children in particular, look forward to the joys the season brings, i.e. the gifts and goodies. Some even pen letters to Santa Claus explaining why they are most deserving of all they want for Christmas. Here are snippets of what some children are expecting from the ‘jolly old fellow’ this year.
Aditya Narine, 6, of Plantain Walk, West Coast Demerara, who swears he has been a good boy all year, has a long list for Santa. The chatty six year-old included a PS4 call of duty game, a big boy truck, an bow and arrow, a big car, a nerf gun, a motor bike, a Nintendo game, and a train, on his wish list.

Aarushi Anandi Gangaram ,9, says all she wants for Christmas is very own iPad. Given the allure with kids and technology these days, it’s safe to say that an iPad would be a cool gift for Aarushi.

Amina Ally, 6, of Uitvlugt West Coast Demerara, loves Barbie dolls. She is hoping to get a new one for Christmas.
Amelia Somai, 10, of Eccles, East Bank Demerara, really hopes that she will get an LOL OMG doll for this holiday. The LOL doll, which comes with fashionable accessories to match, is sure to make Amelia happy. She also added a cell phone and headset to her wish list.

Azaria Halley is not your typical two-year-old baby girl. The cute tot who hails from Schoonord, West Bank Demerara loves musical instruments. Her favourite is the drum set. So for Christmas, you guessed it… she hopes that Santa will bring her a drum set.

Roshana Aashiyana Gangaram, 7, also has a musical flair. She says a keyboard would be the perfect gift for her this Christmas.

Jevon Waldron of Princes Street, Georgetown has his heart set on a bicycle and iPhone X for Christmas. He is particularly fascinated with the features of the high-end cell phone since watching a clip about it on YouTube.

Four-year-old Elle Ramsay is wise beyond her years. Her fascination includes art and books. That‘s why for Christmas instead of dolls this year, she opted to ask for a paint set and some really cool new books.

Just like Elle, her older sister Emily Graham, 7, is no longer fascinated with dolls. Her interest is in puzzles and board games. She sincerely hopes she will get some new games and puzzles as holiday gifts.

Sheanna Kadan, eight years old, of Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara, really wants a princess toy set for Christmas. She dreams of dressing her dolls with the princess-themed accessories.

Shia Kadan, 6, also of Cummings Lodge, wants a doll set to join in the fun with her older sister, Sheanna.

Sachin Kadan, 10, of Cummings Lodge says his only wish is for a brand new bicycle.

Reya Budohoo, 10, another young Cummings Lodge resident, has puzzles and books on his wish list.

Much like his sister, five-year-old Reyad Budhoo, has his heart set on a simple gift for the holiday. He says a monster truck would do!

Manav Singh, of Zorg, Essequibo, is also looking forward to finding a monster truck in a carefully wrapped package for Christmas.

Mikhail Watson, an energetic and quick-witted toddler who has an obsession with toy trucks and cars, looks forward to having a few of them this holiday.

Eight year-old Oland Swaby, is into drones. He placed a drone, basketball hoop and a bicycle on his request list to Santa.

Devesh Ganace, who is nine years old, is obsessed with cars. So for Christmas all he wants are racing cars!!!

Shamera Singh has shown a keen interest in singing dolls. That is all she wants for Christmas.

Jasmine Haywood, 4, of Ketley Street, Charlestown, loves to watch videos on YouTube. For Christmas, she wants her very own tablet to continue watching her favourite shows on YouTube.

Kemaya Aurora Wright. This enchanting four-year-old already has a sense of style. Her only wish this holiday is for a Barbie dream house.

Seven-year-old Ariella Harry of Lusignan Pasture, East Coast Demerara, is eager to have a scooter and story book for Christmas this year.

Cyrilla Harry of Lusignan Pasture, East Coast Demerara is three years old, but she has already decided that a bicycle and LOL toy would be a perfect gift for Christmas.

Samaiya Bacchus, of La Jalousie, West Coast Demerara, is four years old. She has a fondness for art and sincerely hopes Santa will get her a painting set with a board this year.

Kristopher Chunilall is three years old. He is requesting a racing car and dinosaurs too from Santa Claus this year.

Five year old Eric Somai of Eccles, East Bank Demerara, wants Santa to bring him a robot dinosaur and a BIG truck!!!

Jahiem Stephen Darell is nine years old. He lives at Ogle, East Coast Demerara. For Christmas this year he says a nerf gun and nintendo would put a smile on his face.

Taressa Ambery Pereira of Sophia, Greater Georgetown is ten years old. Her only wish is for her very own doll house.

Jason Gulliver, 3, loves racing cars. It’s something he hopes Santa will bring him this year.
