The Academy of Contemporary Martial Arts School recently held its final assessment (grading) with branches from Essequibo, Uitvlugt, Mahaica and Mahaicony of which over 30 students were tested.

Following weeks of training, the students were tested in physical fitness (2mile run), pushups, sit ups, condition fitness, presentation on topics (1500 words), kata, sparring, self defence among other requests that were required for the various ranking belts, in the presence of parents/ guardians, friends and Instructor/Master Dellon Hyman. The exams were conducted by the Chief instructor Grand Master Audre Murray.
Awards were given in the following ranks (belt) white, yellow, green purple.
Their next assessment will be in April 2020 which will be done in conjunction with International Tournament ‘The Evolution Series’ at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall. The ACMA already have 10 countries committed for event.
