Ambassador of the United States of America to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, Sarah-Ann Lynch, yesterday called on Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Karen Cummings.
According to the US embassy, among mutual areas of interest discussed were US initiatives to provide humanitarian assistance to the growing number of Venezuelan migrants.
Also raised was the upcoming elections.
Guyana and the United States have continued to maintain a high level of bilateral cooperation since the establishment of diplomatic relations on August 15, 1966.
