Ahead of what is anticipated to be a ding dong battle against home team Guyana Police Force in the feature match of the opening double header of the GFF Super 16 year end tournament on Sunday afternoon, East Bank Football Association top team, Timehri Panthers received a timely boost of gear and equipment from Bounty Farm Ltd.
Receiving the donation was Timehri Panthers Sports Club Vice President and Public Relations Officer, Mr. Clayton A.D Lambert Snr., from Bounty Farm employee, Ms. Amelia Kelman.
Also present at the simple ceremony were Club President Mr. Adrian Gonsalves, Captain and National Under-17 player, Shannon Samnauth along with defender and Bounty Farm employee, Mr. John Steele.
The club received two full kits, 10 balls and 5 ball bags, the 10 balls bring the amount of balls donated to the club by Bounty Farm Ltd., to twenty five.
Commenting on the donation, Mr. David Fernandes, Assistant Managing Director of Bounty Farm Ltd., said that they are proud to be able to make a contribution to the development of youth and football in the community.
President Gonsalves thanked the company for their timely donation and said he was looking forward to many more in the future. He also stated that the equipment would be put to good use and will go a far way in fulfilling the Panthers motto, “Impacting Lives Thorough Sports “.
