The unbeaten run by the Retrieve Raiders and Victory Valley Royals continued on Wednesday night when they won their respective games aga
inst Kings and Amelia’s Ward Jets in the Linden Amateur Basketball Association / Youth Basketball Guyana Under-19 tournament being played at the Mackenzie Sports Club hard court.
Retrieve Raiders looked well in winning their second straight game with a 41-29 thumping of Kings following their 17-10 lead at half time. Kareem Roberts once again was their spearhead with 12 points, while T. Grannum supported with nine points. For the Kings Jaden Rose shot in 10 points and Tevin Belle seven.
Victory Valley Royals continued their running game with a 54-16 blowout of Amelia’s Ward Jets with Emmanuel LaRose leading with a game high 14 points while Kobe Tappin maintained his good form with 12. L. Benjamin ended with four points for the Jets to be their best scorer.
Due to the international series involving the Grenada and the National Men’s team in a goodwill series this weekend, the tournament will take a break.
