Lodge Secondary put Charlestown Secondary deeper under the weather with a ramping 6-1 victory at the Ministry of Education (MOE) ground on Thursday afternoon to maintain their perfect record in the second annual Guyoil/Tradewind Tankers Schools’ Football League that is also supported by Ansa McAl Trading.
Skipper and target man Dorwin George was on target thrice in the big win and his hat-trick performance was assisted with solitary strikes from Colin McBean and Nicholas Trotman, while the sixth goal was on account of an own goal. Tarique Pryce scored the consolation for Charlestown.
In the opening match, Bishops’ High School ease past St. John’s College 4-0 courtesy of one goal each from Romeo Bradford, Anthone Herod and Malachi Richards, while the fourth was an own goal.
The tournament continues today from 16:00hrs with the commencement of round eight play.
