Space Gym’s Lindon ‘Muscle’ Burnett cops Middleweight top spot
Known as one of the biggest shows in the Twin Island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Guyanese Lindon Burnett popularly known as ‘Muscle’ flexed
his way to the first place in the middleweight category at the 28th Clinton Sammy Classic held at the Thick Village Community Centre, Siparia.
The Space Gym Instructor who also received substantial sponsorship from his employer, turned heads as well as swayed the judges pens in his direction as he was the better athlete of the three competitors in his category.
The former Mr. Guyana said that he had taken an eight year hiatus from the competitive stage and only came back for the Stage of Champions Show, last month where he placed 2nd in the middleweight class.
He said he had just one month to prepare for the T&T assignment and was happy with his showing. Among the prizes that Burnett won was a getaway weekend for two at the Cocoanna Beach House in Mayaro but was unable to take it up due to him having to travel back home.
The annual event is organised by, Always give God the Glory Muscle and Fitness Gym and sanctioned by the T&T Body Building Federation.
Categories included Gym Show, Lightweight, Middleweight Heavyweight, Novice, Miss Figure, Classic Physique, Beach Body and Mr. Physique.
