The Georgetown Softball Cricket League (GSCL) Inc has teamed up with Trophy Stall for the staging of the Champion of Champions T20 Over-45 softball cricket competition which will be held today at GNIC SC starting at 09:00hrs. Regal Masters will take on Wellman Masters in the opening encounter, while Wellman Masters will play Success Masters at 13:00hrs.
The winning and runner up teams as well as man-of-the-match in the final will be given trophies.
President of the GSCL Inc, Ian John, has expressed gratitude to Ramesh Sunich of Trophy Stall and said the competition is expected to be keenly contested, adding that they are looking forward to continue this partnership. “Trophy Stall has been one of the biggest supporters of sports and we are looking forward to his continued backing so we can expand this competition going forward.”
Regal Masters will be led by Mahendra Hardyal and include Eric Thomas, Mohendra Arjune, Eon Abel, David Harper, Rudolph Baker, Laurie Singh, Unnis Yusuf, Parsram Persaud, Mahase Chunilall and Ramesh Deonarine.
Wellman Masters will be spearheaded by Wayne Jones with support coming from Mike Lakeram Singh, Troy Lewis, Sheldon Perch, Eon Lovell, Nandram Samlall, Lloyd Ruplall, Seeraj Bhimsain, Suresh Persaud, Shameer Ali and Rudy Meyers.
Success Masters will be captained by Rafman Ali.
