Insurance giants, Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire Insurance Company Ltd., has thrown its support behind the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) and the Golden Jaguars ahead of yesterday’s all-important Concacaf Nations League match against the visiting Aruba.
On Thursday, the company’s Marketing Officer, Shafeena Juman handed over a cheque to ‘Golden Jaguar’ Kevin Layne in the presence of teammate, Matthew Briggs.
Ms. Juman expressed her company’s delight at being able to tangibly support the Golden Jaguars and the GFF in their quest to bring more glory to Guyana’s football. She said that Hand-in Hand has a rich history of supporting Guyana’s sportsmen and women and this latest contribution is testimony to their ongoing commitment in this regard.
She further extended her company’s best wishes to the team for another successful result in (yesterday’s) match against Aruba.
Layne in return, on behalf of his colleagues and the GFF thanked Hand-in-Hand and Ms. Juman for their support noting that it will certainly boost the team not only for the Aruba encounter but also their final match against Jamaica on Monday in the land of Reggae.
