LBI defeated St. Roses by 66 runs to win the final of the Holy Bible Family Club Inter Secondary Schools Tapeball competition which was contested on Saturday last at the National Cultural Centre tarmac.
Batting first, LBI Secondary managed 109-4 off their allocation of 24 balls. St. Roses made 43-6 in reply.
On Sunday at Durban Park, Cummings Lodge Secondary beat North Georgetown Secondary in the final of another competition. North Georgetown Secondary batted first and managed 47-6 off their allotted six overs. Cummings Lodge Secondary responded with 49 in 5.4 overs. Brandon Kissoon of Cummings Lodge was adjudged the MVP, while Bishop’s High School was voted the most discipline team.
Another tournament is set for November 30.
