GHB Junior Indoor C/Ship begins today at CASH
The sixth Annual Junior Indoor Hockey Championships, which is being organised by the Guyana Hockey Board (GHB) and sponsored by Sunshine
Action in the Mixed Under-10 competition.
Snack, Simco Engineering and Farfan & Mendes, slaps off this evening from 17:00hrs at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) with the last game scheduled to hit off at 20:00hrs.
A total of seven matches will be played today with five of those in the Under-16 age group and two in the Under-21 division.
GBTI GCC Spartans will open the Farfan & Mendes Ltd Under-16 division action against YMCA Old Fort in the first match of the evening. GCC War Dogs will play SHC Silencers in the first boys’ Under-16 match of the tournament, while the two Sunshine Snacks Under-21 games will feature GBTI GCC Spartans versus YMCA Old Fort in the women’s category, while GCC Pitbulls will play YMCA Old Fort.
