Following the completion of the final quarter-final game between Bent Street and Tiger Bay which the former won, the semi-finalists in this year’s GT Beer / Keep Your Five Alive Futsal Competition have been decided.
They now join Sparta Boss, Future Stars and Gold is Money in the last four which is slated to be played on Saturday, at the National Gymnasium.
The semi-final line up will see defending champs Sparta Boss tackle a rejuvenated Future Stars, while Bent Street take on Gold is Money in what is being referred to as two blockbuster affairs for prize monies in excess of $1million and trophies.
In the opening game, Gold is Money missing their inspirational captain Hubert Pedro will look to leading marksman Jermin Junor to spearhead their quest for a final spot.
His support will no doubt come from the experienced Phillip Rowley, Solomon Austin and Randolph Wagner.
On the other hand, Bent Street a team loaded with national standouts will be aiming to underline that advantage to reach the championship game.
The likes of Pernel Schultz, Daniel Wilson and William Europe are in their lineup and their only focus will be to dominate their opponents.
In the other game, champs Sparta Boss will have to be at their lethal best to hold off the impressive Future Stars that has looked in rich form.
Sparta’s chances of winning will rest on the performances of Gregory Richardson, Sheldon Shepherd, Ryan Hackett and Eusi Phillips.
On the other hand, the Stars will hope that players such as Keiron Solomon, Kevin Cummings and Jamal Cozier continue to shine to get them to the final.
Two exhibition games will precede the semi-finals.
