I’ve been wanting to say this for some time now and have been watching the Guyana newspapers.
We may want to consider where these OIL contracts are signed going forward, so for example if we think Guyana got a raw deal do we have recourse in foreign courts which in places can be very litigant with contracts to our disadvantage and advantage and are we utilizing the cooling off periods to review carefully.
Very important that previous and future retained Advisory firms are under the Fiduciary umbrella (preferably Canada – USA) but these are International conglomerates with business interests in Africa, Europe and Middle East, because if people in Georgetown are claiming the deals are so out of sorts then what are they saying ?
This is my personal objective analysis and is not directed at anyone personally.
