Defending Champions St. Pius continued their pillaging form following their 8-0 win against Mae’s Primary on match day one with a comprehensive 9-1 thrashing of Smith Memorial yesterday when play continued on match day two of the ninth annual Courts Pee wee tournament at the Ministry of Education (MOE) ground on Carifesta Avenue.
Jamal Fraser smashed in six, with his goals coming in minutes 1, 19, 22, 29, 34 and 36 of the clash. Jamal Jones, Nickali Watson and Teon Macy scored one goal each to take the team’s tally to nine, while Smith Memorial had Japheth Sampson on the score sheet.
Soesdyke were unforgiving when they matched skills with their Georgetown counterparts St. Margaret’s who they beat 7-0. Jaden Tasher spearheaded the attack with a hat-trick, while Jermaine Mitchell netted a brace to go along with one goal each from Ezekiel Holder and Neil Persaud.
North Georgetown also hit seven on the day and Ann’s Grove Primary will not be too pleased to be on the receiving end of the second 7-0 mauling of the day.
Martha Chance opened the scoring in the 10th minute before Garey Primo banged in four goals in the 11th, 12th, 33rd and 40th minutes. Dellon Wray and Maneshar Khan each got on the score sheet once in the win.
