Plagiarism, such a cruel thing to do.
Some people say it’s like losing a shoe.
Long tired hours spent researching and looking. Writing and booking.
Then there they go all sneaky and looty, off with your work, time and energy.
Fierce they may be with small words and little changes,
but even so I can tell after reading the first two pages.
In a hurry they must be, with a deadline to meet,
but still that gives no right for them to be a thief.
The time, sweat and effort that was put and made clear,
must now be as some else’s with their name and grade there.
Plagiarism, a law against it should be passed.
Some people may then be revealed as the poets and who are the masked.
Plagiarism such a cruel thing to do,
only a writer worth his salt would do the right thing and return the stolen shoe.
